History Day 2024 - 13 Projects move to STATE!
South San Francisco High School Students took top awards in nearly every category of the South Bay Peninsula competition on Sunday March 10th.

These students qualified to attend the next competition at the State level in Sacramento, April 20-21.

School Competition
Congratulations to all of our Social Studies students who participated and presented their projects during the week of January 30th through February 2nd. Growth through accomplishment and presentations was evident and we applaud all those that worked to make it happen!
Our Social Studies teachers have also acknowledged other student projects with the Honorable Mentions and Special Awards. Presentation ceremony and certificates to these students will be announced soon.
The next level of the National History Day contest is the regional/county level (South Bay Peninsula). The Finalists below have the opportunity to submit their projects and papers and present on Sunday, March 10th at Saratoga High School.
