The art and beauty of movement were on display during South City and El Camino High Schools' spring dance recitals.
The events, which had largely been put on hold since the COVID-19 pandemic, finally returned in earnest and for good in May 2023.
South City High's spring recital also marked the final curtain call for dance teacher Bettyann Motylewski, who plans to retire at the end of the 2022-23 school year.
Commencement is scheduled for May 26.
