As we begin the 2023-24 school year, I would like to say, “WELCOME BACK WARRIORS!” and welcome to our families, both new and returning!
A short two and one-half months ago, we celebrated the Class of 2023’s Commencement. We are excited to see the many contributions these individuals will make in our community and for our society.
For this new school year, a special welcome to our incoming freshmen, Class of 2027, and new students to our high school. With the new school year comes much anticipation, new hopes and goals, and curiosity about what to expect for the new year.
South City has many traditions and we look forward to continuing them and building new ones to create an even stronger and more lasting community on our campus. I encourage all students, and parents and guardians, to get involved and make this a memorable school year.
There is something for every student:
Athletics, clubs, Performing Arts, intramurals, community service and a variety of other options to enhance the high school experience.
For parents and guardians, there are many opportunities to be active participants in the Warrior community:
Athletic Boosters, Music Program, BARR Advisory Committee, chaperone Field Trips, PTSA, School Site Council and other parent organizations.
On behalf of the entire high school staff, please TAKE ADVANTAGE of all that is offered to make this a great year for our students and school community.
