Library & Learning Resources

The South San Francisco High School (SSFHS) Library supports student learning by connecting students to local, regional, state, and national information resources. The library works in collaboration with the South San Francisco Public Library and the Daly City Public Library to expand access to academic and recreational materials.

Library Resources & Access

SSFHS Library Catalog (Destiny)

Students can search and manage library materials through Destiny, the SSFHS online library catalog.

Note: Destiny is only accessible from computers within the South San Francisco Unified School District (SSFUSD).

Public Library Resources

In addition to the SSFHS library, students are encouraged to take advantage of the extensive resources available through the public library system.

Students can apply for a Peninsula Library System card to access:

  • Books and digital collections

  • Online databases

  • Research tools

  • Homework and learning support

Borrowing Library Materials

Checkout Guidelines

  • Checkout period: 3 weeks

  • Maximum items: 7 books at a time

  • Lost or unreturned items: Students will be charged the replacement cost of the book
