An introductory course in ceramics. Students have an opportunity to explore a variety of ceramic techniques such as clay carving, pinch, slab, teacher recommendation and sculpture techniques. Basic glazing techniques and firing procedures are introduced. Reading and writing are a required part of the course.
Semester Course

A continuation of Ceramics 1. Students have an opportunity to explore a variety of ceramic techniques such as clay carving, pinch, slab, and sculpture techniques. Basic glazing techniques and firing procedures are introduced. Reading and writing are a required part of the course. Successful completion of the course meets the district's fine arts requirements.
