Welcome to South San Francisco High School — home of the Warriors.

At SSFHS, we are committed to more than academic achievement. Our mission is to graduate resilient, empathetic, life-long learners who become productive and globally conscious citizens with the skills needed to thrive in an ever-changing society. Every decision we make — from classroom instruction to extracurricular opportunities — is guided by that vision.

We believe resilience is built through challenge, empathy grows through connection, and leadership develops through service and responsibility. Our students are encouraged to think critically, collaborate respectfully, and embrace diverse perspectives as they prepare for college, career, and life beyond high school.

South City High is a place where students are supported academically, socially, and emotionally. Through rigorous coursework, Advanced Placement opportunities, Career Technical Education pathways, athletics, arts, and student leadership programs, we provide meaningful experiences that help students discover their strengths and passions.
